After 18 months of hauling the Tal 2 in and out (not as bad as it seems, it’s been mostly cloudy) I decided a permanent base outside was my next priority. With help from my father in law (me helping him) I hope to be ready for autumn 09. Originally a hexagon, 1 panel has been added to give a little more room. A sit down pod area will hang off the back. (Giving the shoe shape when viewed from above) I only have a good view to the East and limited views South. The design has therefore been simplified.  

This site is primarily designed to mark the progress of the build. I hope to eventually develop it further to include all things astronomical.......
